Pumpkin Chicken Dachshund Recipe
 

This dachshund recipe bulks up your dachshunds poop so it will help him express his anal glands naturally.  Pick up some frozen chicken breasts from Costco along with a small can of pumpkin (be sure to get real pumpkin and NOT the pie filler).  Defrost two chicken breast in the microwave for about 20 minutes and cook on high for about 7 minutes. 

Slice both chicken breast into small pieces and mix in the can of pumkin.  This dachshund recipe makes 6 servings for a miniature dachshund.  You can serve each serving for less than $1 (one) which is less expensive than the normal commercial dachshund food. 


Chicken Rice Dachshund Recipe

This dachshund recipe is super for any dachshund out there.  Boil a boneless chicken breast to medium and cut into chunks.  Add 1 cup of steamed brown rice to the mix.  Add several steamed carrots (or raw carrots) whichever your dachshund prefers.  Pour a little of the chicken broth to add flavor and nutrients. You are ready to serve. 


Dachshund Cheese Treats  

Your dachshund will love these cheese treats. 

2 cups of all purpose flour
1/2 cup of vegetable oil
1 tps garlic powder
1-1/4 cups cheddar cheese
5 tbsp water

Place all of the ingredients (excluding water) into your food processor.  Pulse the mixture until it becomes the appearance of coarse meal.  Turn the processor to "ON" and slowly add water until the mixture forms the consistency need for a ball of dough.  Roll the dough out on a flat floured surface to 1/2 inch thickness.  Cut the dachshund cheese treats into shapes with a cookie cutter.  Bake on a parchment paper cookie sheet at 400 degrees for about 15 minutes.  Let the dachshund cheese treats cool and then serve. 


Dachshund Peanut Butter Recipe  

Here is a great peanut butter recipe for your dachshund. 

2 1/4 cups wheat flour
3/4 cup all purpose flour
1 1/4 tbsp baking powder
1 cup milk
1 1/4 cups peanut butter

Combine flour and baking power in a large bowl.  Spoon the peanut butter in a separate medium sized bowl and gradually add milk, stirring until well blended.  Add peanut mixutre into combined flour and baking powder.  With a large wooden spoon, slowly mix until a dough ball is formed.  Roll out the dough on a flat floured surface to about 1/2 inch thickness.  With a cookie cutter, cut into shapes then bake on a parchment paper cookie sheet at 400 degrees for about 15 minutes.  Let the dachshund biscuits cool, then serve.  


Toxic Dachshund Foods 

Never feed your dachshund or any dog for that matter, chocolate, onions, onion powder, macadamia nuts, grapes, raisons, persimmons and mushrooms.  A small amount of garlic is acceptable.
