Double Dapple Dachshund

In a standard or miniature double dapple dachshund, the double dapple only will occur when both dachshund parents are dapples although this does not mean that the entire dapple dachshund puppy litter is going to be double dapple or even dapple.  In some cases, the dachshund puppies can be solid colors as well.  To be double dapple dachshunds, the puppies must have areas of white on the body and both parents must carry the double dapple dachshund gene.
